Can one buy the success in “EA Sports UFC 3”? The fans are divided, meanwhile, the developers strive for educational work.
Only yesterday we reported that the beta of “EA Sports UFC 3” for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launched free of charge. Prerequisite: A Gold or PlayStation Plus membership. Since you can buy map packages to improve your own fighter, some beta players now suspect a pay-to-win model behind the game. But can you really win the victory?
The community is not in agreement. Some fans, however, find that exaggerated at this point. Now, on request from IGN, EA Sports took the floor and announced that there were “no buyable fighter upgrades” affecting other modes. Microtransactions – comparable to “FIFA” – can only be applied to Ultimate mode. Matchmaking logic takes into account various aspects, including “Fighter Attributes, Moves, Boosts, and Perks.”
Here, a prioritization based on comparable upgraded fighters and the actual capabilities of the “UFC 3” player. They wanted to prevent “as many unequal encounters as possible”. In addition, the fighting game, which will be released on the second of February next year, would also feature “Online Ranked Championships and unranked Online Quick Match for competitive and casual head-to-head online play”.
