The Japanese Dragon Game “Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time” will be released in a few months in Japan. Now new pictures and information have appeared, which introduce us, among other things, the skills board.
The Square Enix staff have now unveiled new information and images for the upcoming Japanese-style game “Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time”. The skills board was presented, which allows you to spend skill points to learn special abilities and increase your own character values.
This will allow you to decide freely which skills are to be learned, so that you can develop the character completely according to your own ideas. Among other things, there are skills based on weapons and the individual characteristics of each character. You can also learn “heroes” skills. Each group member will also receive a completely unique board.
You can develop the characters in different ways and send them into the fight, for example, as an all-rounder. However, the characters can also be specialized in one aspect so that they can learn particularly strong abilities.
Furthermore, the developers have introduced the “Spell of Restoration” feature, which will make it possible to transfer the game roughly from one platform to another by entering a special code in the Adventure Log. However, the level, money and ownership are replaced with prepared content based on the progress of the action.
“Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time” will be released on July 29, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS in Japan. A switch version is also planned. Moreover, a western date is not yet known.
