To “Death Stranding” there have been countless reports in the past months, which did not give up the game regularly. “Beaching” also exists beyond the first CGI trailer.
Hideo Kojima was not able to penetrate “Death Stranding” on the now concluded E3 2017. This is not because there is nothing to show. This is what Sonys Shawn Layden referred to in a recent interview after asking whether “Death Stranding” would exist as a game at all.
According to Layden, the project went well after Hideo Kojima chose Guerrilla Games’ Decima engine. Layden himself could already play first prototype levels. At least in rough strokes “Death Stranding” exists in some parts. But Layden also had to concede that he can not really explain what this game is about. Similar statements were made in the past by other persons who came into contact with “Death Stranding”.
But is the title really as revolutionary as Hideo Kojima promises? The answer from Layden was as follows: “All this and more.” Other non-compelling reports about “Death Stranding” can be found as usual in our topic overview.
