Those in charge of Red Hook have announced the new “The Color of Madness” expansion for “Darkest Dungeon”. Furthermore, “The Shieldbreaker” appears today for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
Red Hook has announced another paid expansion called “The Color of Madness” for the hardcore roleplaying game “Darkest Dungeon”. This will ultimately be the third expansion after the developers have released “The Crimson Court” and “The Shieldbreaker”.
A shard of extraterrestrial origin flew over the night sky and hit Miller’s old farm on the outskirts of Hamlet. Those who saw the comet’s arrival were blinded. However, you did not hear anything from the farm. Only a moan roars from the ruins of the old mill.
“The Color of Madness” will bring a new area based on the farm, which is why an agricultural faction will be offered as well. These are Miller and his staff, who occupy the area around the windmill and are under the all consuming influence of the light of the comet.
Furthermore, the expansion includes new Junk, which one with comets can buy shards from the nomad, as well as a new quest variant reminiscent of a Horde mode. You will have to turn off endless waves of enemies, trying to survive as long as possible.
“The Color of Madness” is due to appear in spring 2018. In addition, the developers have announced that the “The Shieldbreaker” extension will be released today for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The extensions will appear at a later date for the iPad. Finally, it was announced that the Nintendo Switch version of “Darkest Dungeon” should be released at the beginning of next year with “The Crimson Court” and “The Shieldbreaker” at best.
