The classic real-time strategy “Company of Heroes” has now received a new comprehensive update, which brings new content and functions with it on the tenth anniversary.
SEGA and the relevant developers of Relic Entertainment are now celebrating the tenth anniversary of the classic real-time strategy game “Company of Heroes”. In order to reward the community that has been loyal to the game for so long, the developers have now released a new update for the classic, which brings some customization and new content.
“Company of Heroes players continue to inspire us with their creativity and support,” said Justin Dowdeswell, General Manager of Relic Entertainment. “We are in the incredibly fortunate situation that we get the energy we’ve put into this game from our player over and over again.”
Company ofHeroes now features Steam Workshop support, making it even easier for users to create their own content, learn about the new features of other modders, and share and manage their own creations. The update also includes Steam trading cards for collectors.
The Ostfront-Mod – two original fractions from Company of Heroes 2 are entering the first part of Company ofHeroes. Thus, the Soviet Army and the German Ostheer are now also available in Part 1. Previously, the content of Far East War, Great War and Europe at War were integrated.
In addition, the responsible persons announced a new discount action. Accordingly, by June 5, 2017, 75 percent of the purchase of “Company of Heroes” and “Company of Heroes2” as well as all extensions can be saved by 17:00. DLCs and in-store items are offered with a discount of 66 percent.
