From now on, PlayStation 4 players have the opportunity to play the fourth and last expansion of the first person shooter “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” with “Retribution”.
Activision and the relevant Infinity Ward developers have today released “Retribution” the fourth and last expansion of the first-person shooter “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” for PlayStation 4. Due to a limited time exclusivity, Xbox One and PC players will not be able to enjoy the new content until the middle of next month.
“Retribution” once again includes a new zombies chapter and four other multiplayer maps designed for gripping PvP battles. In the Zombies campaign, “The Beast from Beyond” completes the plot, which had put you in various Horrorfilm scenarios. This time, the players are sent to an abandoned military base on a remote ice planet, which is quite reminiscent of the movie “The Thing From Another World”.
Dave Stohl, Studio Head at Infinity Ward, commented on the new expansion: “From the beginning, our mission was to ensure a high degree of customization, so that the Infinite Warfare players can play their own gameplay on different multiplayer maps and equally reward the player “Retribution fulfills this promise and we can not wait to see what the community is all about.”
Finally, here is an official trailer and some information about the new multiplayer maps:
Carnage – A post-apocalyptic circuit on the Californian coast.
Heartland – A simulation of an American small town, which is simultaneously the reissue of the classic card Warhawk from “Call of Duty: Ghosts”
Altitude – A modern, huge shopping mall at the edge of the universe.
Depot 22 – “Depot 22” is a water station at the end of civilization.
