The sales figures of the Infinity Ward subsidiary also spoke a clear language. “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” continued to sell at an above-average level, but the “Call of Duty” series was disappointing.

In April 2017, “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” on the US charts was even overtaken by the Xbox 360 version of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” which is a little thrust in terms of support for Xbox One’s downside compatibility Sales figures.
