The directors of 505 Games and Comcept present a new developer video for the upcoming Metroidvania “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night”. With this one is mainly concerned with the technical side of the development.
The developer studio, Comcept, is working on a new Metroidvania called “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” by the former Castlevania director Koji Igarashi, which will be the first half year of 2015 of 505 games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the PC.
In a new developer video now speaks the responsible technical director from the support studio DICO to “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night”. He is focused on the development of the game and the use of Unreal Engine 4. According to the developer, the engine is very powerful, but the work is quite difficult, since the engine is not very common in Japan. That’s why the developers have to find out for themselves.
A few weeks ago, Igarashi had emphasized that the developers had to speed up the work on “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” to meet the planned release period. DICO and monobite serve as support in the development.
