In an interview conducted by Eurogamer, Game Director Ashraf Ismail talked about the work on “Assassins Creed Origins” and pointed out, among other things, that the work on the new offshoot will last for almost four years.
After rumors of the latest offshoot of the series have been announced at this year’s E3, “Assassin’s Creed Origins”.
In an extensive interview conducted by Eurogamer’s colleagues, responsible game director Ashraf Ismail pointed out that the work on “Assassins Creed Origins” will last for a period of almost four years. So much time had been needed to realize his own ambitions.
Above all, the technical implementation of “Assassin’s Creed Origins” had faced the developers with various challenges, since it was from the beginning of an ancient Egypt, which can be explored freely by the players. Whether they enter a cave, explore a city or climb a wall; A liquid transition should always be provided.
Also in the playfield, “Assassin’s Creed Origins” await various innovations and optimizations. For example, the stealth mechanics or the battles were optimized and equipped with new features such as hitboxes. These should guarantee an even more intense player experience. Also very important to the developers was the authenticity. According to Ismail, everything you see in “Assassin’s Creed Origins” has exactly the same in ancient Egypt.
“Assassin’s Creed Origins” will be released on October 27th for the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Further details and surprises about the new offshoot will be revealed to Ubisoft in the coming weeks and months.
